Mashups and APIs
This weeks lecture on Mashups and APIs was very useful. I now know what an API is and its purpose!
I now understand that APIs let the public extend sites, share data ect. I think its a good way of getting people to express their ideas by being able to alter a site that already exists. very creative :)
Mashups- sites that are comined in one-Google maps helped me understand the meaning ‘mashups’ better.
I think mashups are a good way to experiment with content from other sites. It seems cheaper and easier!
I have been doing some thinking about Asseessment A “Production Project A”
And i am thinking i may like to do either number 1 or 2. I have an idea for both of these, just have to figure out wich one to do :)
